Knowledge centres

Limburg’s geography puts it squarely within the ELAt knowledge triangle (Eindhoven, Louvain, Aachen), a well linked network of universities and research centres.
Three Academies, the Hasselt University and excellent cooperation with the Universities of Louvain, Aachen and Maastricht ensure that Limburg merits the label of a knowledge region. Other universities located not far away from Limburg include the Delft University of Technology, the Eindhoven University of Technology and the University of Liege.
